Sagardoy announces the launch of a new consulting practice specialized in organizational and reward strategy, thereby strengthening its position as a comprehensive advisor in labor relations and human capital management.

This new practice has been established to address an increasingly demanding regulatory environment and the growing need for organizations to integrate a legal and labor perspective with a strategic and technical approach to organizational design and compensation.

Manuel López Franco joins the firm as Director of this new practice. With a solid background in strategic consulting at top-tier firms such as PwC, EY, and Korn Ferry, he has led complex projects for national and international companies in areas including compensation model design, organizational architecture, job evaluation, and pay equity policies.

The creation of this practice takes place in an international context characterized by increasing regulatory pressure, which will intensify with the entry into force of Directive (EU) 2023/970 on pay transparency. In this scenario, organizations require solutions that integrate regulatory compliance, internal consistency, and alignment with business strategy.

“The launch of this practice reflects our commitment to increasingly sophisticated, cross-disciplinary advisory services aligned with the current and future regulatory needs of our clients. We aim to consolidate our position as the strategic partner capable of connecting labor and employment law advice with consulting solutions focused on business sustainability and competitiveness,” said Íñigo Sagardoy, President of the firm.

The new practice will advise clients on the design and review of compensation systems, organizational and professional classification structures, transformation of the Human Resources function, as well as pay equality and transparency. With this initiative, the firm expands its integrated service portfolio, offering a differentiated value proposition that combines legal rigor, strategic insight, and specialized technical expertise.

For his part, Manuel López Franco stated: “I take on this project with the conviction that organizational and reward strategy is now a key lever for value creation and risk mitigation. Integrating internal equity, external competitiveness, and regulatory compliance requires a multidisciplinary, business-oriented approach.”

In the coming weeks, the firm will present the main strategic lines of this new practice through sector-focused events, specialized publications, and sessions for clients and collaborators. At the same time, it will begin developing several projects already entrusted to it, reflecting the interest and confidence this initiative has generated in the market.
