Sagardoy offers its clients a new specialized consulting practice in Organisational and Reward Strategy, created to expand and complement the firm’s legal leadership with the delivery of business-oriented compensation and organizational strategy solutions.

The practice is led by Manuel López Franco, Director at Sagardoy, who has extensive experience in the design of compensation solutions, organizational architecture, job evaluation, and pay equity.

The value proposition of this new practice focuses on providing clients with an integrated human resources solution that successfully combines technical rigor, legal certainty, and real implementation capability.

Our services are mainly structured around the following areas of expertise:

  • Compensation Strategy and Total Rewards: design of compensation architecture, including salary band structures, salary review processes, annual variable compensation, sales force incentives, and employee benefits.
  • Executive Compensation and Boards of Directors: benchmarking for senior management and board members, design of long-term incentive plans (LTI), and the design and review of remuneration policies in regulated environments.
  • Pay Equity and Transparency: compliance with Royal Decree 902/2020 (pay audits and pay registers) and with EU Directive 2023/970 on pay transparency (preparation of policies and processes, as well as new pay registers and justification of pay gaps).
  • Organization and Job Classification: job evaluation, compensation architecture and career frameworks, and professional classification.
  • HR Function Transformation: design of the HR operating model (HRBP/CoE/SSC), annual processes (performance, talent, succession, salary review), dashboards, workforce sizing, and cost analysis.
