Manuel has been Director of Consulting at Sagardoy since 2026. Prior to joining the firm, he developed his career in consultancy at organisations such as Korn Ferry, EY and PwC.
He holds a Degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Madrid and a Master’s in Decision Making and Innovation from the University of Alcalá and FUE.
Manuel specialises in the design and development of reward strategies and compensation plans (national and international salary bands, short‑term variable remuneration, long‑term incentives), as well as organisational strategy projects (role models, job descriptions, job evaluation) for national and international companies across a wide range of sectors, both public and private.
He has also led sales‑force incentive projects, both nationally —for one of Spain’s leading insurance companies— and internationally, redefining the global incentive system of a major food industry company.
As an expert in organisation and job evaluation, Manuel also led the development of the job evaluation tool for the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and the Ministry of Equality, created to comply with Royal Decree 902/2020 on pay equality.
In his work as an entrepreneur, Manuel gained first‑hand insight into business operations and needs, as well as a close view of the start‑up ecosystem. He remains deeply committed to the young entrepreneurial community and served for several years as Regional Coordinator of the “Ideas for León” initiative.
