Enrique Fontecha

Enrique Fontecha has served as Managing Director of Sagardoy since March 2026 and has an extensive track record in the senior management of major organisations. Over more than twenty years, he has held positions of responsibility on Executive Committees and has worked in close collaboration with Boards of Directors.

His experience covers the management of strategic areas in large-scale companies, both as Head of Human Resources and in executive roles that combined additional responsibilities in Internal and External Communication, Institutional Relations, Corporate Marketing, General Services, Real Estate Management, Security and Operations. His previous tenure as Managing Director in other organisations has given him a transversal perspective and a deep understanding of the different areas that shape business management.

He has developed his career in leading organisations such as PortAventura, Parques Reunidos–Warner Madrid, EVO Banco and Bankinter, where he played a key role in organisational transformation processes, the definition of corporate strategies and the evolution of management models.

In recent years, he has expanded his professional activity as an Independent Director. He currently serves on the Board of Plenergy, the third-largest hydrocarbons retailer in Spain, where he contributes to strategic planning and the strengthening of corporate governance.

His professional approach is defined by a strategic, business‑oriented vision, a leadership style that fosters strong organisational cultures, and a firm commitment to teamwork as a pillar of effective management.
