Sagardoy has been awarded the prize for Best Employment Law Firm at the IV edition of the El Confidencial Business Law Awards, marking the first time that an award has been presented in the Employment Law category. This distinction highlights Sagardoy’s technical excellence, strategic leadership and the results achieved over the past year.

The award recognises the work of the firm’s entire team, whose performance over the year stood out particularly for the provision of advice on matters involving a high level of technical and strategic complexity, as well as for the leadership demonstrated by the firm’s lawyers in the matters assessed. In this context, the jury placed special emphasis on the firm’s involvement in restructuring processes, ongoing advisory work, collective bargaining and corporate transactions, including the harmonisation of employment conditions following mergers or corporate reorganisations.

The award also underscores the team’s outstanding performance in high‑profile employment litigation before the Labour Courts, the National Court (Audiencia Nacional) and the Supreme Court, as well as its forward‑looking and preventive advice on cutting‑edge employment law issues.

According to Iñigo Sagardoy, president of the Firm, “This award is a recognition of the rigorous work and commitment of the entire team, as well as of our approach to Employment Law as a strategic tool for businesses. It reflects the trust our clients place in us and our constant efforts to provide technically sound, close and business‑focused advice, directly leading matters of great complexity and significance.”

The jury of the El Confidencial Legal Awards is made up of twenty professionals of recognised standing, all of whom are lawyers holding senior positions within in‑house legal departments, together with a leading academic institution, which further reinforces the value and credibility of this recognition.

Sagardoy would like to thank El Confidencial and the members of the jury for the award and reaffirms its commitment to continuing to provide top‑tier employment law advice, tailored to the current and future challenges of the employment landscape.
