The prestigious British guide Chambers & Partners—an international benchmark that ranks law firms and lawyers in more than 180 countries—once again highlights Sagardoy’s leadership in the Employment category in its 2026 edition. With this latest recognition, the firm secures its Elite ranking for the fourth consecutive year, the highest distinction awarded by the publication.

In this context, Iñigo Sagardoy, President of the firm, stated: “ This recognition strengthens our commitment to the excellence and legal rigour that have defined Sagardoy since its inception. Renewing the Elite category for the fourth consecutive year is, above all, a reflection of our collective talent and the ongoing efforts of the entire team. I accept this distinction with deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility; beyond the personal recognition, it is also a testament to the project we share and to the impact that, as a firm, we aspire to continue having in the field of Employment Law.”

At the individual level, Chambers once again includes our Chairman, Iñigo Sagardoy, in the Eminent Practitioner category, identifying him as one of the most influential lawyers in the country. Likewise, Martín Godino, Managing Partner, retains the Star Individual distinction for the fifteenth consecutive year—an exceptional achievement that consolidates his position as a leading expert in his field.

The guide also once again recognizes Román Gil Alburquerque, Partner of the Firm, in Band 1 of the rankings.

For his part, Martín Godino, Managing Partner,  commented: “ Remaining in the highest category of Chambers & Partners is a testament to the strength of our model and to the trust our clients and the market place in us. It is a collective achievement that highlights the consistency and quality of our advice. Achieving fifteen consecutive years as a Star Individual is an honour that can only be understood through teamwork and constant dedication, and it drives us to continue innovating and offering the highest level of excellence in our practice.”

With the results of the 2026 edition, Sagardoy’s position as a leading employment law firm at the national level is once again reinforced—a recognition that fills us with pride and gratitude towards our clients, whose daily trust drives our work.
