This morning, Sagardoy presented a new client advisory service on Workplace Absence Management and Prevention at the Juan Antonio Sagardoy Auditorium, in collaboration with strategic partner Q-Ready, a Quirónprevención Group company specialising in absenteeism management.
This new value proposition is based on a 360° approach, combining Q-Ready and Quirónprevención’s technical expertise in occupational health management with Sagardoy’s legal experience. The primary objective of the partnership is to help organisations understand, measure, and address absenteeism from a dual perspective — legal and technical — in order to optimise internal management and ensure regulatory compliance. The advisory process covers the following stages:
-
Technical diagnosis of absenteeism causes, data analysis, and proposal of improvement measures.
-
Legal and regulatory assessment, including identification of legal risks and recommended actions.
-
Executive reports for senior management providing a clear, actionable vision aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Luis Pérez Capitán, Of Counsel at Sagardoy and former Labour Inspector, will lead the team of professionals in charge of this new practice area. Through this alliance, both firms strengthen their commitment to supporting large organisations in enhancing corporate health from a comprehensive, efficient, and legally compliant perspective.
The new service was presented during a Labour Law Breakfast Briefing attended by the leadership of Sagardoy and Q-Ready, including Martín Godino, Managing Partner at Sagardoy; Luis Iglesias Vázquez, Director of Absence Management at Quirónprevención; and Emilio Conde, Deputy Director of Key Accounts at Quirónprevención.
The event also featured a presentation by Professor José Luis Goñi, Chair of Labour and Social Security Law at the Public University of Navarre and former Counsel to the Constitutional Court, who shared an insightful reflection on the impact of illness on employment relationships, in light of the latest European and national case law.
