In its second edition, the journal Derecho Social y Empresa analyzes the serious issue of youth unemployment in Spain and Europe, where one in two young Spaniards is unable to find work. This issue examines the obstacles to the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, the tensions between labor hiring and entrepreneurship, and the importance of promoting dual training. Furthermore, it offers a critical review of the data and institutions that shape youth unemployment, addressing the most relevant political and educational responses. A necessary reflection on one of the great challenges of our time.
