The Appointment, Promotion, and Evaluation Committee of Sagardoy Abogados decided last December to appoint two new partners at the firm: Alicia Moro Valentín-Gamazo and José Miguel Mestre Vázquez.
Alicia Moro joined the firm in 2002, and José Miguel Mestre in 2007. Throughout their long careers, both have demonstrated a total commitment to our firm, the values we represent, exceptional client service, and a professional reputation both internally and externally that makes them deserving of this appointment. Both have made significant contributions to the growth and consolidation of our reputation as a leading firm in the labor law sector.
Alicia Moro holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Diploma in Labor Law Practice from the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has twenty-two years of experience at Sagardoy Abogados and twenty-eight years of professional practice.
Since 2017, Alicia has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Labor Lawyers (ASNALA). Alicia is also a professor in the labor law area of the Master’s in Private Law at the Colegio de Abogados, a professor of the Master’s in High Litigation at the Complutense University’s School of Legal Practice, coordinator of Master’s final projects for the University Carlos III Law Program, and a regular speaker at various programs of the Sagardoy Business & Law School.
On the other hand, José Miguel Mestre holds a Law Degree and Master’s Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law at Esade-Universitat Ramón Llull and a Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention from UDIMA-CEF. He joined Sagardoy Abogados in 2007, where he has stood out for his strong international profile, negotiation skills, and creativity. He is currently a collaborating professor in the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession at Abad Oliva University – CEU, a professor in the Business Master’s Program at ISDE, and in Labor Procedural Law at UOC, as well as a collaborator at UNIR, where he supervises Master’s Final Projects in Law. He is currently a member of the organizing committee for congresses of the international allianceIus Laboris, of which the firm is a founding partner, and since 2022, he has been the coordinator of the Social Forum Aranzadi in Barcelona.
